Terms of Service

Welcome to Aalto. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aalto website, apps, browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Aalto.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break any law or third-party right.
• Save content that infringes intellectual property, is harmful, or contains malware.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, probe for vulnerabilities, or bypass rate limits.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the product URLs, notes, images, and other content you save to Aalto. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service. We do not sell your content.

4. Paid plans

Paid plans are billed through Stripe in advance on a monthly or annual cycle until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal.

5. Service availability

We work to keep Aalto available and accurate, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aalto's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
